The GNTO office France ran two separate campaigns from May to June and again from June to July, promoting Greece to millions of public transportation travelers and others running from Central Paris to Nanter. Τhe colors of the Olympic medals, gold, silver and bronze to hold the first role in the themes of posters and digital pictures. Other campaign slogans seen on the sides of buses and in metro stations in Paris read “La Grèce – Une expérience de vie… Pas seulement des vacances” (Greece, a life experience – something more than a vacation). It is estimated that the advertisements on the Parisian buses were seen by 6.9 million single viewers with those in the metro by another 5.5 million passengers. The advertising campaign extended to 110 metro stations and on 2006 bus surfaces. This summer’s Olympic Games, taking place in France, will begin on Friday, July 26 and end on Sunday, August 11.
