The beach managed by the Neptune Luxury Resort on Kos was recently honored with the internationally recognized eco-label Blue Flag Beach Certificate for the 22nd consecutive year.

According to an announcement by the hotel’s management, the distinction underscores Neptune Luxury Resort’s commitment to maintaining high standards in environmental awareness, seawater quality, beach management, and safety.

A renowned environmental honor, the Blue Flag eco-label acknowledges beachesmarinas, and sustainable tourism boats. Trusted by millions worldwide, the program is managed by the Foundation for Environmental Education, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. In Greece, the program is represented by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature (EEPF).

Since first earning our Blue Flag in 2003, Neptune Luxury Resort has upheld these high standards year after year as proven by the new recognition for the 2024 season.

“The achievement of receiving the Blue Flag for 22 consecutive years is a significant milestone that reflects our ongoing efforts to provide a safe, clean, and sustainable environment for our guests,” said Neptune Luxury Resort General Manager Konstantinos Zarikos.
