Costa Cruises’ “Fortuna” cruise ship will homeport in Piraeus this summer, offering 7-night cruises to Mykonos, Santorini, Heraklion, Kos or Halicarnassus, and Istanbul.

Passengers sailing every Friday until September 13 will experience the shores of the Eastern Mediterranean with all meals and entertainment included, accompanied by a Greek-speaking representative.

Inspired by legendary Italian ocean liners, Costa Fortuna offers high comfort and elegance. With a gross weight of 102,669 tons, a length of 272 meters, and 12 decks, this floating resort accommodates up to 3,470 passengers in spacious cabins.

According to a company announcement, the ship’s five restaurants feature menus with authentic Italian recipes, Mediterranean, and Japanese cuisine. Its ten bars and lounges offer well-known and original Italian wines and cocktails. Onboard entertainment includes theatrical performances and a casino.

Passengers can also relax in one of the pools and hot tubs, rejuvenate in the wellness center, or work out on the multi-sports court and gym overlooking the sea. For its little guests, Costa Fortuna offers fun and interactive activities at the colorful Squok Club which also has a children’s water park.

Ideal for families, couples, and explorers, Costa Fortuna combines warm hospitality with the opportunity to discover new places in each port.

“Experience the Italian hospitality and get ready to set sail in an ocean full of experiences, gastronomy, and beautiful destinations,” the company’s management said.

For more information and bookings, those interested should visit the company’s website or contact their travel agent.

Costa Cruises also offers cruises around the world with embarkation from other ports to the Western Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the United Arab Emirates and the Arabian Gulf, as well as the Caribbean. Its new cruise ships, Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda, run on liquefied natural gas (LNG), offering cruises that are increasingly environmentally friendly.
