Since 1992, Sani Hill in Halkidiki has come alive each summer during July and August with vibrant live performances from across the world stage. Organized by Sani Resort, a luxurious local resort, the festival invites guests and visitors to enjoy masterful performances and an enchanting atmosphere, as jazz, pop, rock, contemporary, modern dance, and musical theatre all flow in harmony. In its 32nd edition, the festival opened on July 6 with internationally renowned tenor Plácido Domingo performing in a concert dedicated to classical music. He was joined by soprano Christina Poulitsi, singer George Perris, and the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jordi Bernàcer. “Diverse and dynamic, we look forward to welcoming attendees for a summer of musical magic and prowess upon Sani Hill,” the organizers said. Across six decades, Jones has sold over 100 million records, earning recognition as one of the greatest artists of all time. The homage features performances by renowned Greek artists Stefanos Korkolis, Dimitris Basis, and Sofia Manousaki, enriching the celebration of Plessas’ legacy.
