With the UEFA Euro 2024 final approaching this Sunday, July 14, the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) announced its ongoing support for the football community and its presence in Berlin through its DOOH (Digital Out-of-Home) advertising campaign.

GNTO reports that the campaign has been reaching thousands of people daily since its launch on June 12 and will conclude with the final games in Berlin on July 14.

The main message of the campaign is “Greece: A life-changing experience”, conveyed through an impressive spot displayed on 7,434 digital screens across five German cities hosting the UEFA Euro games this year. These cities—Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt, and Dusseldorf—have the highest daily flight connections to Greece.

With an estimated 2.7 million attendees at the football games and an additional 7 million football fans visiting the host cities, GNTO strategically leveraged the event to promote the Greek tourism product in commercial shops, public transportation, hotels, and other venues throughout these German cities.

GNTO’s General Secretary, Dimitris Fragakis, expressed pride in GNTO’s presence at UEFA Euro 2024.

“Through the campaign, Greece successfully places itself on the global tourism map, appealing to even more visitors and enhancing its reputation as one of the most enchanting destinations in the world,” Fragakis said.
