The tender will result in a 25-year concession agreement for the Vassilitsa ski center, covering an area of 6,200,000 square meters across the Vassilitsa and Baldouma mountains. The selected investor will be responsible for the operation, management, and exploitation of the ski resort, located in the Pindos National Park within the regional units of Grevena and Ioannina. The tender process will consist of two phases. The first phase will evaluate the technical and financial profiles of participants. The second phase will involve inviting binding offer submissions from qualified investors. Interested parties must express their intention to participate by September 13, 2024. Currently, the Vassilitsa National Ski Center features 7 lifts servicing 18 ski slopes, including two for beginners. It is conveniently accessible from the cities of Thessaloniki and Ioannina via the Egnatia National Motorway, drawing visitors primarily from northern Greece and other southern European countries. The new concession aims to further develop the center, attracting visitors year-round due to its location in the heart of the Pindos National Park, renowned for its natural beauty.
