The World’s Best Awards by Travel + Leisure recently ranked four Greek hotels among the best in the world and Europe, honoring them for their luxurious atmosphere and top-notch hospitality. Each year for the World’s Best Awards survey, Travel + Leisure (T+L) invites readers to share their opinions on travel experiences worldwide, rating the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Hotels were categorized as resort hotels, city hotels, inns, or safari lodges based on their location and amenities. They were specifically rated on the following criteria: rooms/facilities, location, service, food and value. Greek hospitality leads the way Andronis Boutique Hotel. Photo source: Andronis Kalesma Mykonos on Mykonos island achieved the 45th place among the world’s top 100 hotels, captivating travelers with its elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. The five-star hotel also earned the 4th place on the European list with a total score of 98.47 points. In T+L’s Best Hotels in Europe category, readers selected 30 hotels across the region as top accommodation units, with hotels from Spain, Greece, Italy, and France sharing the honors. Among these: – the Andronis Boutique Hotel on Santorini came in 9th with a reader score of 97.07 – the Santa Marina, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos ranked 14th with a score of 96.67 – the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino in Pylos was 15th place and 96.40 score from readers. Winners included Milos (4th place, score 93.08), Crete (6th place, score 92.38), Corfu and the Ionian Islands (20th place, score 89.42) and Paros (24th place, score 88.97). Over 186,000 T+L readers completed the 2024 survey. A total of more than 700,000 votes were cast across more than 8,700 properties (hotels, cities, cruise lines, etc).
