Photo source: Air Transat The 2024 World Airline Awards by Skytrax recently unveiled the ten Best Leisure Airlines, highlighting the quality of their services and the passenger’s in-flight experience. Known as “the Oscars of the aviation industry”, the awards reflect passenger satisfaction with the product and staff service standards provided by leisure and charter airlines both onboard flights and at the airport. For the sixth consecutive year, Skytrax has honored Air Transat as the World’s Best Leisure Airline in 2024 for its exceptional travel experience and services. The airline previously won this award in 2012, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023, and now 2024. Additionally, Transat was voted Best Leisure Airline in North America for the second time since 2022. “Our team’s tireless efforts to make customer satisfaction a priority ensure that we consistently meet and exceed the expectations of those who choose to fly with us,” said Miguel Teixeira, Vice President of In-Flight Services & Customer Experience at Air Transat, upon receiving the award. Among the winners, SunExpress secured second place globally and was also recognized as the best leisure airline in Europe. TUI Airways ranked third, followed by Condor Airlines in fourth place and TUIfly in fifth.
