Reply R Ferguson 24 July 2024 - 12:19 Keep taxing tourists like 7 euros a day and you will have a reduction in tourists. We go to Crete for three weeks this year, flights 3 star self catering accommodation and spending money cost us £5866. We have been going there for over 20 years, love it, but it’s becoming harder to justify spending so much, prices went up because of the scamdemic, but have not come down we supported Crete in those two years by buying at great cost test kits so we could travel. I pay enough tax at home with out having to pay tax to pay for damage caused by fires and the weather.
