Pearl Island Chios Hotel & Spa, the first 5-star hotel on Chios, just opened its doors to the public on July 10, and invites guests to discover authentic Greek hospitality on the unexplored island of the North Aegean.

Under the management of the Greek hospitality consulting company Modus & Amplio, the hotel aims to become a landmark “Destination Hotel” for travelers from all over the world who seek to experience authenticity, diversity, and luxury.

Its unique architecture is inspired by the signature “Thymianousiki” local stone, the mandarin trees, the mastic, and the imposing plane tree next to the preserved “Magganos” water well. In this stunning environment, Pearl Island is the ideal setting for weddings and memorable social events, conferences, and meetings.

Highlighting the island’s nautical tradition

Given Chios’ centuries-long history as a major nautical hub, Pearl Island attempts to revive these traditions, offering a holistic experience rooted in the island’s rich heritage.

The 48 luxurious suites have been designed all around an impressive Olympic-sized swimming pool, where a unique in-pool bar provides endless opportunities for relaxation and refreshment.

Moreover, sixteen swim-up suites surround the main pool and give guests direct access to the it via their private terrace. Contemporary architecture blends with earthy colors and natural materials, while local plants fully harmonize the hotel with its surrounding environment.

Greek gastronomy with a Mediterranean flair

The hotel’s restaurant, Mastihari, awaits guests to take them on a culinary journey inspired by Greek gastronomy with a Mediterranean flair. Chefs create unique seasonal menus based on the island’s cuisine, cooked with fresh ingredients from local producers and organic farms as well as herbs from the garden of the hotel.

Additionally, the pool bar offers relaxation in the middle of the imposing pool, making it ideal for enjoying cool cocktails based on mastic and fruits. Pleasure continues at the Nautical Bar and the Cigar Lounge, where guests can enjoy a peaceful evening drink just before bedtime. Finally, the cinema is the ideal entertainment for private screenings.

Iremia’ Wellness Hub & Spa

A unique relaxation area with a heated lap pool, sauna, hammam, couple’s massage, rain showers, and beauty services makes Iremia Spa a point of reference throughout the island. It is an ideal destination for Pilates, yoga, relaxation, and rejuvenation treatments with mastic-based care products. The experienced therapists of the spa offer treatments to hotel residents and external customers.

Situated in the Northern Aegean, Chios has stunning blue-green waters and picturesque medieval villages with rich history and unparalleled natural beauty. Visitors will walk through beautiful, narrow alleys decorated with flowers, visit traditional workshops, and taste local delicacies enriched with the essence of mastic.

Modus & Amplio has vast experience with pre-opening, hotel and asset management, brand strategy, and sales development. With extensive experience in hotel management and growth, the firm is a reliable partner to hotel owners, investors, shareholders, and real estate management firms.
