The emergency contact number is: 210 3681017. The Ministry also reaffirmed that its travel warning issued on July 29, advising against non-essential travel to Lebanon and recommending that visitors depart from the country, remains in effect. This advisory follows recent developments and an escalation of hostilities between Israel and Lebanon. In response to the conflict, several countries have urged their nationals to leave Lebanon. Airline operations have been affected, with an increasing number of flights to and from Israel, Jordan, and Lebanon being cancelled or suspended. Greek airline AEGEAN announced on Friday the cancellation of all scheduled flights to and from Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, until August 6, and to and from Beirut Rafik Hariri International Airport until August 8. On Monday, the airline extended the suspension of all scheduled flights to/from Beirut and to/from Tel Aviv until Thursday, August 8. AEGEAN also canceled all scheduled flights to and from Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan, until Thursday, August 8. Jordan asks airlines to carry extra fuel Jordanian authorities on Sunday issued a NOTAM, a safety notice provided to pilots, asking all airlines to carry 45 minutes of reserve fuel fuel for “operational reasons”. According to reports, the request is seen as a precautionary measure in case of an attack by Iran against Israel. The NOTAM is effective until 2200 GMT on Tuesday.
