According to a company announcement, the size and scale of next year’s program make it the companies’ largest Winter City Breaks program to date, with almost 700,000 seats available to destinations across Europe. “The expanded program includes a brand-new winter route from Manchester to Porto, as well as a fantastic collection of other city break destinations,” said Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. In addition to Porto, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have added nine more destinations—Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Krakow, Paris, Prague, Rome, Vienna, and Venice—departing from eight UK bases: Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle International, and London Stansted Airports. For Athens specifically, the Winter City Breaks program for 2025/26 includes two weekly flights from Birmingham Airport, two weekly flights from London Stansted Airport, and four weekly flights from Manchester Airport. “While there is a lot of demand for this winter, we know that people are looking further ahead as well. That is why we have delivered what our customers and independent travel agency partners want and put our biggest Winter City Breaks program on sale today for 2025/26,” said Heapy. Jet2 runs leisure flights through Jet2.com and city break packages through Jet2CityBreaks, a brand under tour operator Jet2holidays.
