The Hellenic Olympic Committee has signed a contract for the 25-year lease of its hotel property in northern Athens, with an option for a 10-year extension, to a joint venture comprising REDS, a member of the ELLAKTOR Group (70 percent), and SWOT Hospitality (30 percent).

The hotel, strategically located in Marousi on Kifissias Avenue, was selected by the two companies due to its prime location near major shopping centers, businesses, the Helexpo exhibition center, and hospital complexes. The hotel also offers convenient access to Athens International Airport (AIA).

“This project aligns with our broader business strategy of identifying and investing in high-potential properties, enhancing them, and managing them to maximize value,” said REDS CEO Ioanna Dretta.

According to a company announcement, the redevelopment of the property, which includes eight floors and a total area of 5,725 square meters, will integrate sustainable development principles as part of its market repositioning.

SWOT Hospitality, a company that manages high-quality hospitality units in Greece and abroad, will oversee the new hotel complex.

“Our partnership with REDS and the ELLAKTOR Group is built on shared values and objectives, combining our collective expertise to deliver another exceptional hospitality experience that meets modern standards of quality and service,” said SWOT Hospitality’s founder, George Konstantinidis.
