Photos source: Tourism Ministry Greek-American television presenter Maria Menounos recently met with Greek tourism officials in Athens to discuss the role of the Greek Diaspora in promoting Greece in the United States. Menounos, accompanied by her husband, Hollywood producer Keven Undergaro; their daughter, Athena; and Sotiris Kyranakos, the General Coordinator of the Authentic Marathon, attended a meeting at the Greek Tourism Ministry. During the meeting, she engaged with Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni, Deputy Minister of Tourism Elena Rapti, and Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) General Secretary Andreas Fiorentinos. Photos source: Tourism Ministry According to a ministry announcement, discussions centered on strategies for promoting Greece in the U.S., with a special emphasis on the Greek Diaspora, which plays a crucial role in supporting and showcasing Greek culture and tourism abroad. “We discussed ways to enhance our tourism presence in the U.S., focusing on initiatives that highlight Greece not only for its rich history and culture but also for the modern tourist services and experiences it offers,” Rapti said. Maria Menounos is a Greek-American journalist and actress born in Massachusetts, USA. She works as a journalist for NBC, appearing on the shows Today and Access Hollywood. In addition to her journalism career, Menounos has also appeared in films such as Fantastic Four and Kickin’ It Old Skool.
