Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni discussed the vast opportunities for tourism investments in Greece with Abdallah Bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE Minister of Economy, who also oversees the country’s tourism sector.

During their meeting, Kefalogianni emphasized the importance of the UAE market for Greek tourism, citing its strength and high-quality features.

“The dynamic growth of Greece’s tourism sector presents excellent opportunities, positioning it at the forefront of investment interest for institutional and strategic investors from the United Arab Emirates,” emphasized minister Abdallah Bin Touq Al Marri.

Later in their discussion, Kefalogianni expressed her intention to officially invite the Emirati minister to visit Greece, leading a delegation of business professionals. The purpose would be to further brief them on the favorable investment framework in sectors that support the diversification of Greece’s tourism product and the enhancement of service quality.

Olga Kefalogianni also underlined that the one-stop-shop for tourism investments, operating under the Ministry of Tourism, along with the continuously updated legislation offering investment products and tools, plays a crucial role in supporting this direction.
