Deputy prefect Mavridou, noted that Pieria has competitive advantages, while it seeks synergies with academic establishments and other institutions to express its footprint and the plethora of choices it offers, with deputy regional prefect, Hatzivasiliou saying that “we will walk together forward in a holistic cooperation for tourism.” Photo source: POTAP Spyros Tsiligiridis, who designed the logo said that he was inspired by three qualities, representative of Pieria, “hospitality, kindness, beauty,” imagining the Region as a beautiful, kind, attractive and colorful dame. The event for the presentation of the logo was attended by a great number of people, including numerous local officials.
