Pieria’s Organization for Tourist Development and Promotion (POTAP) has adopted a new logo mirroring its five core qualities: Authenticity, experience, sustainability, digital action, inclusion.

The new Pieria logo was presented to the public in an event hosted by Pieria deputy Prefect, Sofia Mavridou and POTAP president, Giorgos Karalis, in the presence of Vicky Hatzivasiliou, Deputy Prefect for Tourism of the Region of Central Macedonia.

The logo bears the name “Olympus Riviera Greece” and according to POTAP president, “it is representative not only of POTAP but of Pieria itself.” Mythical Mount Olympus is located in the Region of Pieria, which is also known for its magical beaches, hence the reference to a “Riviera”.

Deputy prefect Mavridou, noted that Pieria has competitive advantages, while it seeks synergies with academic establishments and other institutions to express its footprint and the plethora of choices it offers, with deputy regional prefect, Hatzivasiliou saying that “we will walk together forward in a holistic cooperation for tourism.”
