Residents and visitors of Kalamata can now access events.kalamata.gr for comprehensive information on entertainment and community activities. The platform will provide information in both Greek and English. The platform was introduced this week by Kalamata Mayor Thanasis Vasilopoulos, Deputy Mayors Vasilis Papaefstathiou and Giorgos Lazaridis, and Sotiris Kritsotakis, President of the K.E. Faris municipal company. Photo source: Municipality of Kalamata The officials described the new platform as a valuable resource for both residents and visitors. In addition to listing cultural events, the platform — referred to as “the calendar” by Mayor Vasilopoulos — will also feature athletic and social events within the municipality. Mayor Vasilopoulos noted that the platform will assist individuals planning events by helping them identify suitable dates and venues. The Municipality of Kalamata aims to further develop the platform to attract visitors based on their interests in cultural and other events.
