Greece was recognized as the top international and multigenerational family destination for American travelers at the 2024 Wherever Awards held recently in New York.

Hosted by the American publishing group FX Express Publications, the awards recognize destinations, companies, and services that excel in delivering exceptional travel experiences.

In the 7th edition of the contest, Greece’s appeal was reaffirmed for the second consecutive year by winning the “Best Family-Friendly Multigenerational Destination of the Year” category, surpassing Ireland and Italy.

In the “Best Family-Friendly International Destination” category, Greece secured second place, with Fiji taking the top spot and Tahiti placing third. According to the organizers, readers chose Greece because they appreciated the country’s efforts to provide an exceptional travel experience.
