Hilton will debut its Hilton Garden Inn brand in Greece with the opening of a new hotel in Athens.

Scheduled to open in December 2024, the Hilton Garden Inn Athens Syggrou Avenue will occupy the renovated LUX&EASY Signature Syggrou 244 building, part of the Nova Constructions group.

According to a company announcement, the new addition is expected to enhance the accommodation landscape in Athens.

“Dedicated to quality and innovation, Hilton Garden Inn Athens Syggrou Avenue is poised to become the preferred destination for both business and leisure travelers,” Hilton stated in a company announcement.

Guests will enjoy spacious rooms featuring comfortable beds, workspaces, and advanced technology, underscoring Hilton’s commitment to an elevated hospitality experience. The renovated lobby, a hallmark of every Garden Inn hotel, will serve as a central hub where guests can relax, work, and socialize.

A top gastronomy experience

Located on the sixth floor, the Rodopou & Beyond rooftop restaurant is set to become the city’s new culinary hotspot. Offering a refined atmosphere paired with exceptional Mediterranean and Greek cuisine, guests will enjoy unique dishes while taking in views of the Acropolis and the cityscape.

To accommodate business needs, the hotel offers two dedicated conference rooms with a combined capacity of over 170 people. Additionally, private parking will be available for guests.

With over 50 years of history in Athens, Hilton is now set to transform the iconic Hilton Athens hotel into “The Ilisian” under its Conrad and Waldorf Astoria brands. This new luxury property, anticipated to launch in late 2025, will become a dynamic ecosystem of residences and shops.
