The event is organized in collaboration with the European digital innovation networks GR digiGOV-innoHUB and Smart Attica. The competition aims to promote innovation and support startups, inviting businesses, research teams, university students, and public and private sector officials to propose innovative and technologically advanced solutions addressing modern challenges in the fields of tourism, culture, environment, transportation, and sustainability. The event will be held at the Startup Incubator of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with cash prizes of up to 5,000 euros awarded to the winners. Attica Governor Nikos Hardalias. According to Attica Governor Nikos Hardalias, the regional authority is committed to fostering innovation and supporting startup businesses, recognizing their vital role in development and social well-being. “It is essential to harness the ideas that emerge, developing solutions that will enhance the quality of life for citizens and bolster the local economy,” he said. Governor Hardalias emphasized that the goal of the competition is to establish it as an annual event. The final date for participation submissions is November 7, and an information day will be held on Tuesday, October 15.
