Paros Island in the Cyclades is a top choice for Millennials and Gen Z travelers planning vacations in 2025, according to American Express Travel’s Trending Destinations list.

To compile the 2025 list, the travel agent surveyed 2,018 Gen Z and Millennial respondents between June 24-25, 2024. This year’s list features noteworthy destinations based on global American Express Card Member travel bookings and expertise from Amex Travel’s global network of travel consultants.

“Through our global travel expertise, guides like our annual Trending Destinations list, and our lodging programs like The Hotel Collection, we help our Card Members plan all types of trips and inspire them to explore new places,” said Audrey Hendley, President of American Express Travel.

Millennials and Gen Zers ranked Paros 8th on their bucket list, praising its picturesque landscape and unique features.

Laid-back Paros has become the Greek island of choice for many with a vibrant cultural scene and rocky coastline studded with beaches, secluded coves, and sea caves,” it is mentioned in the American Express survey.

According to the survey, in recent years, Paros has become a top destination for travelers of all ages, with reports recommending it for autumn excursions to enjoy outdoor activities and as a tranquil alternative from other overcrowded Greek destinations.

The 2025 Trending Destinations list also includes Brisbane, Australia; Brittany, France; Franschhoek, South Africa; Koh Samui, Thailand; Macau, China; Moab in Utah and Sun Valley in Idaho, US; Nikko, Japan; and Sao Paolo, Brazil.
