Held in London for the fourth consecutive year, the awards are an initiative by TTG Media, reaching over 10,000 subscribers, tour operators, and British tourism professionals. Known as the toughest and most coveted in the industry, the Travel Industry Awards recognize the top travel suppliers and sellers in the UK and Ireland, showcasing the winners to consumers. Their main goal is to celebrate the brands and individuals who have raised the bar, stood out from their competitors, and strived to work smarter, better and fairer over the past 12 months. The Greek Tourism Board’s UK and Ireland office was nominated for “Tourist Board of the Year 2024”, alongside four other finalists, including the Spanish and Maltese tourism organizations. Greece also starred in the “Sustainable Travel Company of the Year” category, with Sani Resorts in Halkidiki receiving the top honor.
