Titled “Diving and Underwater Tourism”, the new funding program aligns with the principles of Blue Development and invites applications from entities related to diving for financial support. The total budget for the initiative, aimed at enhancing Greece’s tourism offerings, is set at 6.2 million euros. Eligible professional entities, with applications approved on a “first come, first served” basis, include: – operators managing scuba diving parks – providers of recreational scuba diving services – legal entities involved in developing open man-made underwater parks and dive sites Investment projects that receive approval must be completed within 12 months, with a possible extension of up to two months, ensuring all projects conclude by December 31, 2025.
