According to a compay announcement, the airline has expanded the flights offered in the coming months from October to March, with plans to serve over 120 destinations across 37 countries on 344 routes. Passengers departing from Hamburg will have access to twice-weekly flights to Thessaloniki, as well as to Rovaniemi, Kittilä in Finland, and Nürnberg in Germany. Greece remains a top destination for the leisure airline, allowing passengers to book tickets under Aegean Airlines’ flight numbers following a new partnership with the Greek national carrier. Additionally, Eurowings highlights the Middle East in its 2024/2025 winter schedule with new routes to Saudi Arabia and Cairo. Eurowings will be flying from the Rhineland to the Persian Gulf three times a week. The city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia is a new destination in the 2024/25 winter program with flights three times a week from the hubs of Berlin and Cologne-Bonn. The service will be supplemented by two weekly connections to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, which Eurowings will connect with Düsseldorf for the first time.
