The Greek Tourism Ministry launched a new platform on Wednesday aimed at upskilling and reskilling professionals and workers in Greece’s tourism sector.

“Upgrading tourism education and further developing the skills of tourism workers is a priority for the Tourism Ministry,” said Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni during the platform’s launch.

The initiative, titled “Requalification and Upskilling in the Field of Tourism”, invites eligible parties to apply at www.voucher.gov.gr by November 11.

This program is financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Fund, with a budget of €45,029,950. Its objective is to enhance the skills of those employed in the tourism sector, which is deemed essential for implementing policies and measures that will transform the tourism development model.

The program is open to up to 20,000 workers who have accumulated at least 200 daily wages in the tourism sector over the past decade.
