The facility will be constructed on land owned by the National Institute for Agricultural Research. The new conference center will be housed in one of four warehouses on the site, which will be fully renovated to accommodate conferences and other MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events. The building will feature three floors, covering a total area of 3,000 square meters, with a central amphitheater that can host up to 500 people. The amphitheater can also be divided into two separate venues — one with 350 seats and the other with 200 seats — for alternative or simultaneous use. The warehouse building will rise to six meters high, allowing for the accommodation of large exhibits, particularly in the vicinity of the amphitheater. The conference center will be conveniently located across from the building housing the regional authority of Thessaly, surrounded by landscaped areas and parking facilities. One of the largest cities in Greece, Larissa plays a significant role in the Region of Thessaly’s administrative and economic activities.
