Magnesia Hoteliers Association Elects New Board of Directors

The Hotel Owners’ Association of Magnesia recently announced its new Board of Directors following an election process conducted among its members. Greek hotelier Giorgos Zafeiris once again was re-elected president of the association for a three-year term.

Following the October 30 elections, the association’s new board will comprise nine members as follows:

Giorgos Zafeiris

– President: Giorgos Zafeiris

– First Vice President: George Botsivalis

– Second Vice President: George Stamos

– Secretary General: Grigoris Kontorizos

– Alternate Secretary General: Evangelia Venieri

– Treasurer: Dimitra Agrigianni

– Curator: Christina Chrysostomidi

– Members: Vasilis Karaoulanis, Kostas Tokalis

– Alternate Members: Vassilis Asderakis, Andreas Theologou, Nikolaos Dovas, Tsamparlis Erotokritos

Following the elections, the board of directors convened to outline new goals for the association’s term, focusing on maintaining unity and effectively representing the association’s interests.

Their strategy focuses on supporting the sustainable operations of member businesses and enhancing the promotion of Magnesia and Thessaly through targeted initiatives.

“Following recent meetings, the new Board of Directors has immediately begun efforts to promote tourism and protect our members’ interests,” the association said in an announcement.

A key priority includes organizing participation in the upcoming 39th Philoxenia-Hotelia International Tourism Exhibition from November 14 to 16, featuring a dedicated stand and B2B meetings in collaboration with the tourism department of Volos Municipality.
