The Kypseli Municipal Market in Athens this month is saying goodbye to autumn with art events and activities for all ages.

Residents and visitors can enjoy music, art, fitness activities, woodworking, comics, literature, workshops, health tests and first aid sessions, all in the city’s most alternative neighborhood.

Organized by the Athens Municipality, the events aim to entertain children and adults through recreational activities that emphasize the role of art in everyday life.

Together We Paw, November 16, 12pm to 9pm: The non-profit organization Dogs’ Voice is hosting a grand celebration of hospitality and adoption for anyone looking to welcome a new furry friend into their life.

Art Therapy Workshops, November 19, and 26, 6pm to 8pm: By engaging in activities like finger painting, crafting ceramic totems, story writing, and self-portrait exploration, participants find new ways to connect with their memories, senses, and inner world.

November 18, 11am to 6pm: Free, rapid tests for HIV and hepatitis B & C will be offered in partnership with the Checkpoint Prevention & Sexual Health Center.
