Thessaloniki-based TIF-Helexpo, Greece’s national exhibition agency, has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Hermes Expo International, a leading trade show and exhibition networking company based in the United States. The agreement, signed on Thursday, aims to enhance TIF-Helexpo’s presence in the US market.

The partnership includes the exchange of expertise, joint business missions, participation in exhibitions, mutual exhibitor engagement, and broader collaborative initiatives for shared growth.

Since its founding in 1992, Hermes Expo International has been at the forefront of fostering commerce, communication, and cultural exchange between the United States and Greece. As a boutique marketing company, it highlights Greek-American and Philhellenic businesses, providing a valuable platform for professionals and entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services.

The memorandum was signed by TIF-Helexpo President Tasos Tzikas, CEO Kyriakos Pozrikidis, and Hermes Expo’s Pavlos Kotrotsios during the 39th Philoxenia tourism exhibition in Thessaloniki.

“The agreement strengthens the partnership between the two organizations, building on our past cooperation and enabling us to jointly organize trade and business missions, as well as facilitate participation in exhibitions both in Greece and the US,” an announcement by TIF-Helexpo said.

A key outcome of this collaboration is the planned participation of Greek companies in the Networking Business Expo in New Jersey, USA, scheduled for June 25, 2025. The event will feature targeted B2B meetings with American businesses.

Additionally, a business delegation of American and Greek-American companies will attend the 89th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) in September 2025. As one of the largest and oldest trade fairs in Greece, TIF is a significant commercial exhibition held annually in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city.
