Greek airline SKY express recently launched new direct flights between Athens and Amsterdam, further expanding its international network.

The service includes four weekly flights, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, enhancing connectivity between the two cities.

“The new Athens-Amsterdam route reinforces our commitment to continuously expanding connectivity with key European destinations, offering both competitive pricing and a high-quality travel experience,” said Vassilis Krasanakis, Network Planning & Pricing Manager of SKY express.

The new flights will be operated by SKY express’s modern fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft, equipped with CFM LEAP-1A engines. The advanced aircraft combine cutting-edge technology with a reduced environmental footprint, ensuring a comfortable and sustainable journey for passengers.

By early December, the airline will have integrated seven new destinations into its schedule, including Tirana, Yerevan, Tbilisi, Istanbul, Prague, Vienna, and Amsterdam, bringing its total number of international destinations to 22. It will continue to offer the largest domestic network in Greece, with 33 destinations.

SKY express was recently awarded the Innovation Airline Award 2024 by the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) for the second consecutive year, recognizing the airline’s commitment to adopting innovative technologies and its forward-thinking approach to the aviation industry.
