Athens-based travel agency Mideast Travel Worldwide was honored once again at the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2024, recognized for its excellence and leadership in tourism.

The award ceremony took place in Madeira, Portugal, on November 24, at an event considered one of the world’s leading events in the travel industry. Launched in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence in tourism, the WTA brand today is acknowledged globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire.

For the seventh year running, the agency was honored as the World’s Leading Destination Management Company in 2024.

This accolade confirms Mideast Travel’s commitment to quality, innovation and delivering exceptional travel experiences, reinforcing the trust its customers and partners worldwide show. Mideast Travel’s successful service-oriented team is at the heart of the company’s success.

“This award further confirms our upward trajectory in the travel management industry, as well as our dedication to providing excellent service to our clients,” said Katerina Mousbeh, Managing Director of Mideast Travel, at the award ceremony.

“We thank the entire Mideast Travel team for their passion and dedication in helping us reach new heights and, of course, all those who have supported us in our 41 years of business.”

Notably, the company was also distinguished in the same award’s sister event in September as Greece’s Best M.I.C.E. Organizer 2024.

With its headquarters in Athens and a branch in Istanbul, the company has operated in the travel and tourism sector since 1983. It specializes in offering both individuals and businesses first-rate business travel services.
