With this new flight the Airline further extends its reach in Asia alongside its connections to Tokyo, New Delhi, and Malè in the Maldives. The flight from Rome Fiumicino to Bangkok is operated with 5 weekly frequencies as follows: – Rome Fiumicino – Bangkok, with departures on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 3:15 pm (local time), arriving in Bangkok at 7:40 am (local time). – Bangkok – Rome Fiumicino, with departures on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 12:15 pm (local time), arriving in Rome at 7:00 pm (local time). The Rome – Bangkok connection will also continue to be operated in the upcoming 2025 summer season with 3 weekly frequencies, thus proving the importance of this new destination. Photo source: ITA Airways The route is serviced by the state-of-the-art Airbus A330neo, a “peak” for the company in terms of technology, digitalization, innovation, efficiency, design and a true showcase of “Made in Italy.” It features an airspace cabin that maximizes comfort and spaciousness, with new sophisticated lighting and onboard entertainment systems, and complete Wi-Fi connectivity. The aircraft offers three classes: Business (30 reclining seats), Premium (24 seats), and Economy (237 seats, including 36 Comfort Economy seats). More in details, passengers enjoy a 4K in-flight entertainment system with touchscreen displays (17.3” in Business, 15.6” in Premium, and 13.3” in Economy), along with Bluetooth audio and connectivity packages for messaging, browsing, and streaming. Furthermore, the Airbus A330neo delivers 25 percent less fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per seat compared to previous generation aircraft, supporting the airline’s ambition to become Europe’s greenest carrier by the end of the 2023-2027 strategic plan.
