Photo source: TIF Helexpo The Greek northern city of Thessaloniki has been chosen as the host city for the UFI European Conference 2025 by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). UFI is the global association of the world’s leading tradeshow organisers and fairground owners, as well as the major national and international exhibition associations, and selected partners of the exhibition industry. The announcement was made on Wednesday at UFI’s global conference in Cologne, Germany. The conference will take place from June 3 to 6, 2025, in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city. During this time, UFI will also organize its inaugural European Event Week, which will feature a series of events related to the global exhibition industry, including the European conference in Thessaloniki. The conference is expected to attract 350 top industry executives from across Europe. He highlighted Thessaloniki’s growing reputation as a conference and exhibition destination, noting the city’s infrastructure developments, economic growth, and appeal to tourists. TIF-Helexpo, Greece’s national exhibition body, has been a member of UFI since 1927 and plays a key role in the global exhibition industry. Tif-Helexpo and UFI celebrate 100 years in 2025 The year 2025 will mark the 100th anniversary of TIF-Helexpo, as well as UFI’s centennial. The association’s centenary celebrations will begin in Thessaloniki. UFI, which has 865 members from 88 countries, works to represent, promote, and support the professional interests of the exhibition industry worldwide.
