The Greek island of Paros in the Cyclades will welcome the first “Destination by Hyatt” hotel in Greece, set to open its doors in 2026.

Drawing inspiration from the island’s unique identity, Hyatt partnered with Parostec, a family-owned construction company, that will serve as both the owner and constructor of the hotel.

“We are thrilled with the upcoming opening of the Destination by Hyatt brand in Greece,” said Briana Swift, Regional Vice President of Development for Northern Europe at Hyatt.

Boasting a diverse portfolio across North America, Europe, and Asia, the brand “Destination by Hyatt” emphasizes culture, nature, and local communities, offering guests an immersive experience that captures the special essence of each destination.

“With its hotels designed as gateways to authentic experiences, few places are better suited for the brand than Paros,” she added.

The Destination by Hyatt hotel in Paros will offer 50 elegant rooms, evenly split between 25 standard rooms and 25 suites. Of these, 39 will feature private pools, while 11 will include Jacuzzis.

The hotel’s luxurious amenities will include a restaurant, a themed dining area offering unique culinary experiences, and a state-of-the-art spa designed for ultimate relaxation and wellness.

Architectural firm Makridis and Associates will design the hotel, which will embody the Cycladic landscape’s rich beauty.

“This project will provide visitors with a unique opportunity to experience the beauty and culture of Paros while supporting the local community and promoting environmental care,” said George Oikonomopoulos and George Kaggelis, co-owners of Parostec.

A family-owned construction company, Parostec specializes in villas and hotels across Athens and the Cyclades and boasts a portfolio of over 160 completed projects.

The “Destination by Hyatt” hotel on Paros will operate under the management of SWOT Hospitality, a Greek company that manages luxury hotels across Greece.
