In a conversation with Greek-American businessman John Catsimatidis, Ambassador-designate Guilfoyle highlighted Greece’s significant role within both the European Union and NATO. She also noted the opportunity presented by President Trump to collaborate closely with Greece, a nation she described as “the country which gave Democracy to the world”.

“It shows how much he loves the people of Greece and how seriously he takes it, because he knows the job I am going to do… I am going to deliver for him, for the American people, and for the people of Greece for sure,” she stated.
