Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni highlighted the marina’s significance, describing it as a project of regional importance that will enhance marine tourism in the area and beyond. “The marina is one more project aligned with our strategy to elevate Greek tourism through qualitative development,” Kefalogianni said during the signing ceremony, which took place at the Municipality of Pilea-Hortiatis alongside Mayor Ignatios Kaitezidis. With the signing of this agreement, a significant step has been taken toward its long-anticipated development. Located near Thessaloniki’s city center and airport, the marina is expected to become a hub for travelers and elevate the appeal of Central Macedonia as a destination for high-end tourism.
