The familiarization (fam) trip, organized in early December by the Serbian branch of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), provided these professionals with an in-depth look at the region’s exceptional tourism offerings. This trip is part of the GNTO Serbia’s strategy to highlight and promote lesser-known Greek destinations, as well as the authentic experiences they offer. Monastery at Nymphaio Mountain. They also had the opportunity to experience local attractions, such as cave tours, visits to wineries, and sampling traditional regional cuisine. In addition, the visitors met with local officials and business representatives to gain insights into the region’s tourism infrastructure and services. The fam trip was organized in collaboration with the Region of Western Macedonia, following a successful event in Belgrade in October, where wines from northern Greece were introduced to the Serbian market.
