U.S. News Travel’s Best Vacations rankings identify the top destinations by region and vacation type, while evaluating over 1,100 destinations, considering factors such as sights, culture, adventure, and romance, and incorporate both expert analysis and user opinions to provide well-rounded recommendations. In the European list, the Greek capital ranked as the 10th Best Place to Visit in Europe for 2025, praised for its rich cultural heritage, iconic landmarks, vibrant modern lifestyle, and diverse culinary scene.
