The family-owned Mar-Bella Collection group is expanding its portfolio with the opening of its new “Avali” resort on Corfu on July 18, set to redefine the essence of modern luxury.

Nestled between two picturesque hills, the resort will be in close distance to the group’s other two hotels on the island, MarBella and Nido, inviting guests to relax amidst lush Mediterranean gardens and a 300-meter beach.

“Avali is more than just a new hotel; it’s proof that luxury can be fun, modern, and affordable,” says Periklis Gompakis, Sales & Marketing Director of the group. “It’s our response to the new generation of travelers seeking the wow factor without the formality, and luxury without the pretentiousness.”

Where elegance embraces simplicity

Avali Resort will feature 76 elegant rooms and suites designed to accommodate every type of traveler. Whether couples seeking a romantic escape, friends making unforgettable memories, solo adventurers, or families with children over six, all will enjoy the resort’s refined yet welcoming hospitality, framed by the stunning backdrop of the Ionian Sea’s crystal-clear waters.

The resort’s premium amenities will seamlessly blend fine dining with fitness and wellness. At Zardini restaurant, guests can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine with an Asian twist, featuring breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Adding to the culinary journey, the à la carte Stia Grill will complete the resort’s exceptional gastronomy offerings.

Meanwhile, Avali’s lobby bar will be the ideal place to start the day with fresh coffee and snacks before savoring the delicious creations of the all-day food truck by the pool. As the day transitions to evening, the Cicada Pool Bar will transform from a serene daytime retreat into a lively destination for cocktails under the stars.

For wellness enthusiasts, Avali will feature a fully equipped fitness center with indoor facilities and an impressive outdoor fitness deck. The deck will host fitness and wellness events, now in their third year of collaboration with Oyogo UK sports agency, as part of the Mar-Bella Collection hotels’ offerings.

Guests seeking relaxation will appreciate the spa kiosk nestled within the hotel’s lush gardens, providing privacy and tranquility. Meanwhile, water sports enthusiasts will be able to dive into adventure with activities such as stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), canoeing, and kayaking.

Aligned with the group’s all-inclusive philosophy, Avali will invite guests to experience the Dine Around program, which grants access to all à la carte and buffet restaurants across the Mar-Bella Collection hotels in Corfu.

A family-owned business, the Mar-Bella Collection Group has been operating for more than 50 years. Its portfolio includes the MarBella and Nido (adults-only) hotels on Corfu, as well as the Elix hotel in Parga in Epirus. The new Avali on Corfu will be the group’s fourth member resort.
