The “Safest Cities for Female Business Travelers” list was compiled by the company after researching over 45 capital cities. The study evaluated female safety records and reviews of visitor-impacting facilities to determine the most recommended destinations for female travelers. The Greek capital concluded the Top 20 list with a score of 6.43, recording good scores across gender concern metrics. Bern has the top spot as the safest city for female business travelers, achieving the overall score of 9.04, with high scores across each metric, especially when focusing on the reviews and ratings of the city. However, the Swiss capital ranks the highest in women’s safety with 9.9 out of 10, which focuses on the country’s indicators across female inclusion, education and security. In second place is Wellington in New Zealand with 8.11 overall due to a high score in pay gap parity with 8.7 out of 10 and a high percentage of female workforce participation at 66.9 percent. The list also includes Amsterdam, Stockholm, Berlin, Oslo, Paris, Canberra, Ottawa, Washington D.C., Dublin, Lisbon, Brussels, Helsinki, Abu Dhabi, Cape Town, and the UK.
