Situated within a 1,000-acre ecological reserve in Halkidiki, Sani Resort has been a prominent destination for sustainable and family-oriented luxury tourism for over fifty years. The new campaign highlights the resort’s diverse surroundings — its beaches, marina, and forested trails — alongside the rich stories connected to these environments, offering visitors an opportunity to experience hospitality, authenticity, and sustainability. Exploring Sani’s three natural worlds The core of the new campaign centers around three key natural areas that define Sani Resort: the emerald coastline, the pine forest, and the protected wetlands. These environments offer a variety of experiences for visitors, including over 7 km of Blue Flag-awarded beaches, 20 km of scenic forest trails, and a rich array of wildlife preserved in the 270-acre Sani wetlands. Within these natural settings, Sani Resort features five hotels, 40 restaurants and bars, luxury spas, and a private yacht marina. The resort also provides a range of activities for families, including international sports academies such as the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center, Chelsea Football Club Academy, and the Bear Grylls Survival Academy. Additionally, guests can enjoy dedicated kids’ clubs, as well as cultural festivals like the Sani Festival and Sani Gourmet, which attract renowned global talent in music and gastronomy each year. Commitment to sustainability and innovation Sani Resort’s new campaign also emphasizes its ongoing commitment to sustainability and its efforts to preserve the local heritage and environment. Through the Sani Green ESG programme, the resort has implemented a variety of sustainable initiatives, including focusing on reducing the environmental impact of hotel operations, preserving biodiversity, and engaging with local communities. In 2020, Sani Resort became the first carbon-neutral resort in Greece and now operates entirely on renewable energy, with plans to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030. The resort also practices circular economy principles, using AI solutions to reduce food waste, composting organic materials, reusing greywater, and eliminating single-use plastics with biodegradable or plastic-free alternatives. Guests, especially families, can participate in eco-friendly activities such as guided nature tours, exploring Greece’s largest interactive bee garden at the Bee Spot, or contributing to the “Share More, Waste Less” program by donating items they no longer need to families in need.
