The Short-Term Accommodation Managers Association (STAMA Greece) has signed a Memorandum of Collaboration with the Small Enterprises’ Institute of the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen, and Merchants (IME GSEVEE), marking a significant milestone in advancing the short-term rentals market in Greece.

The agreement aims to foster ongoing collaboration between the two entities in the planning, development, and implementation of initiatives related to short-term rental properties. IME GSEVEE, a leading research body for small and medium-sized enterprises in Greece, will provide scientific support to STAMA Greece as part of the partnership.

A shared vision for local economies

STAMA Greece President Nikos Gavalas highlighted the importance of the memorandum, describing it as a pivotal step toward strengthening ties between the two organizations.

The partnership will focus on conducting studies, processing data, and analyzing the economic impact of short-term rentals in Greece. Additionally, it will facilitate the creation of informational resources for the sector and the development of training programs for industry stakeholders.

On behalf of IME GSEVEE, President Giorgos Kavathas highlighted the Institute’s longstanding dedication to fostering cooperation between businesses and sectors.

“This memorandum is a testament to our commitment to disseminating valuable insights and addressing key challenges within the industry,” Kavathas said.

Driving progress through research and education

The collaboration between STAMA Greece and IME GSEVEE is set to play a critical role in promoting sustainable practices and enhancing the professionalism of the short-term rentals sector in Greece. By leveraging IME GSEVEE’s expertise in research and data analysis, STAMA Greece aims to create actionable strategies that benefit both local businesses and the broader economy.
