The accolade honored its pivotal role as the Local Event Partner of the FIRST Global Challenge (FGC) 2024, a joint initiative of the FIRST Global, Mellon LAB, and the Ministry of Digital Governance. During the award ceremony on January 24 in Athens, Sissy Lygnou, CEO of AFEA Congress and President of HAPCO & DES, received the award alongside Mellon Lab and Digital Governance Deputy Minister Konstantinos Kyranakis.
