The Greek National Tourism Organization’s (GNTO) promotional campaign in France during the 2024 Olympic Games won four major distinctions at the annual Ermis Awards, recognizing its impact and creativity.

Organized annually in Athens by the Union of Advertising and Communication Companies of Greece (EDEE), the awards embody the pinnacle of achievement for Greece’s marketing and communications industry.

The GNTO’s award-winning campaign positioned Greece as a top holiday destination for French and international visitors. It featured the Greek hospitality logo, seamlessly blending the colors of Olympic medals with the country’s natural beauty — golden sunsets, silvery seas, and bronze sandy beaches.

The captivating visuals were displayed on screens and billboards across Paris, receiving top honors in the following categories at the Ermis Awards:

– Grand Ermis – AD Outdoor Category
– Gold Ermis – AD Outdoor Category (Financial Services, Tourism, Leisure, Transportation, Other)
– Gold Ermis– AD Outdoor Category (Series of Works)
– Silver Ermis– AD Outdoor Category (Financial Services, Tourism, Leisure, Transportation, Other)

“It is both a pleasure and an honor to carry forward the success and recognition of the Greek National Tourism Organization’s advertising efforts in this digital era,” said GNTO Secretary General Andreas Fiorentinos.

France is a key market for Greek tourism, with forecasts predicting over 2 million French visitors in 2025, exceeding 2024 figures. To strengthen its presence, the Greek tourism board’s campaigns aim to position Greece on the global tourism map by highlighting its diverse and authentic experiences.
