The Pan-Hellenic Seamen’s Federation (PNO) has announced a 24-hour nationwide strike across all categories of ships, set for Friday, February 28.

The strike will begin at 00:01 and end at 24:00, affecting ferry services throughout Greece.

In addition to the strike, the federation stated that it would soon issue a statement addressing the tragic train accident in Tempi, as well as other maritime safety concerns that it believes remain unresolved.
