Athens International Airport (AIA) is showing signs of growth with a 21 percent rise in the number of airlines either choosing to service Athens or increase their flight frequency.

The Greek Civil Aviation Authority reported an increase in passenger arrivals for the first 10 months of 2014 (Jan.-Oct.) with 41.4 million arrivals compared to 35.7 million in the same period in 2013.
