International arrivals at Greek airports increased by 16.9 percent during the first two months of the year, according to data released by the Civil Aviation Authority.

Greece, although still unsettled, revived in 2013 and now sparkles in the glow of a double-digit tourism increase, according to the Global Travel Trends Report 2013/14, released by IPK International during Berlin’s recent ITB tourism fair.

Last year Greece was ranked third most popular destination for Russian tourists, up from the seventh place in 2012, according to data released by the Russian Statistics Service (Rosstat).
