Hilton Athens guests helped to make a big difference to disadvantaged children and young people by raising 2,916.74 euros in the Hilton in the Community Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign.

Athens International Airport (AIA) will join the WWF’s global initiative “Earth Hour” tomorrow, Saturday 23 March, and switch off the lighting of its western runway system (03L/21R), interrupting its operation for one hour, between 20:30 – 21:30 (local time).

Hilton Athens announced it would participate in “Earth Hour” once again and switch off its lights for one hour, this way supporting the global initiative and conveying the message that each and every one of us can act against global warming.

The Greek Tourism Ministry and the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) are rationally managing their available resources by creatively reusing unutilized promotional material of the GNTO, thus saving up to 40 percent of the total cost for new material.
