The 33rd Athens Marathon – Τhe Authentic broke all records on Sunday, November 8, attracting some 43,000 athletes who tested their mettle and improved their personal times running the classic race on a warm, sunny day.

With the inauguration of the ERGO Marathon Expo 2015 on Thursday, events and activities for the 33rd “Athens Marathon. The Authentic” have kicked off. The “Athens Marathon. Τhe Authentic” will take place on Sunday, November 8.

The Athens Marathon may be all about running but it’s also about having fun and the Greek capital is ready to usher in the country’s biggest sporting event in style.

The Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS) has released the TV spot of the authentic marathon road race held annually in the Greek capital every November.

The “Navarino Challenge” team has released 360-degree virtual reality videos that bring back the unique moments experienced this year at Costa Navarino.

The Spetses mini Marathon is growing in numbers and popularity with over 12,000 runners from 20 countries expected to participate in this year’s event on October 9-11.

One of the latest stages of the 2015 Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, one of the sport’s largest and most exciting amateur tournaments, recently took place at Glyfada Golf Club of Athens.

Athletes from Greece and abroad attended the third edition of the “Navarino Challenge” event and enjoyed an exciting weekend that included activities such as running, swimming, taekwondo, climbing, pilates, cycling, boccia, basketball and kick boxing.
