Laws, Regulations & Policy No Visa for Visitors from U.A.E. by GTP editing team 1 June 2008 written by GTP editing team 1 June 2008 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 7 Tourism Development Minister Aris Spiliotopoulos recently announced his plans to lift the visa requirements for visitors to Greece from the United Arab Emirates after meeting with U.A.E Finance Minister Sultan Saeed Al Mansouri during his visit to Dubai for the Arabian Travel Market (6-9 May). Mr. Spiliotopoulos expressed his hope that with this move Greece would attract Arab capital, specifically with regard to tourism investment such as ports and marinas. Within the framework of strengthening the relationship between Greece and the U.A.E, Mr. Spiliotopoulos met with high-ranking executives of regional investment companies and representatives from government-owned “Dubai Ports.” In 2007 Dubai attracted 28 million visitors.
